So, you've finally brought home the 2026 Maruti Baleno facelift. Congratulations! The new Baleno gets a fresh design, the new Z12E petrol engine and a long list of features, including a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS on the top variant. With the car starting at ₹5.99 lakh ex-showroom, most owners will naturally want to keep that new-car feel for as long as possible.
But here's the real question: which Baleno accessories should you buy first?
My advice is simple—don't start with accessories that only make the car look different. Start with the ones that protect the areas you'll use and touch every single day.
1. 3D Floor Mats: Buy These First
If there's one accessory I'd recommend on day one, it's a proper set of 3D or all-weather floor mats.
Indian roads mean dust, mud, rainwater and dirt will eventually find their way into your cabin. A well-fitted mat protects the original carpet and is much easier to remove and clean.
For the Baleno, you can choose from Maruti's genuine 3D all-weather mats, PVC mats or carpet mats. Go for the option that matches how you actually use your car.
2. Door-Sill Guards: Small Accessory, Big Difference
This is one accessory many new owners ignore.
Every time you get into the car, your footwear can touch the lower door-sill area. Over time, those tiny scratches start becoming visible.
A Baleno door-sill guard is therefore worth considering from the beginning. Maruti offers Baleno-specific sill-guard designs, including Electric Edge, Future Edge and Techno Lines options.
If you're particular about keeping the car looking new, this is a ₹-for-₹ practical upgrade.
3. Seat Covers: Choose Protection Over Fancy Design
If your Baleno has the factory upholstery you want to preserve, consider fitted seat covers.
But don't simply choose the thickest or flashiest design available. A properly fitted cover is more important, especially because modern cars can have side airbags integrated into the seats.
For everyday Indian use, I'd pick a breathable, easy-to-clean material in a design that complements the original cabin rather than completely changing its character.
4. Body Side Moulding for City Parking
Here's one for people who regularly park in crowded markets, apartment parking lots or office basements.
Body side moulding can help protect vulnerable door areas from minor knocks and rubbing. It won't prevent serious dents, but it can be useful against those everyday parking-lot encounters.
If you don't like the look of moulding, skip it. Protection should never come at the cost of making your Baleno look cluttered.
5. Door Visors for Indian Weather
A set of properly fitted door visors is another useful city accessory.
They allow you to keep the windows slightly open for ventilation during light rain and can reduce the amount of rain entering the cabin.
Just make sure they're securely fitted and don't interfere with the window mechanism.
6. Boot Mat: Especially Useful for Families
The Baleno's boot is something you'll probably use more than you expect—shopping bags, luggage, groceries and weekend trips all end up there.
A dedicated boot mat makes cleanup much easier. For families, this is one accessory I'd put much higher on the list than decorative exterior add-ons.
7. Dash Camera: One Upgrade I'd Actually Recommend
If you're spending money on an electronic accessory, consider a dash camera.
Choose a compact model with a good-quality front camera, parking-mode support if you need it, and a reliable installation. Avoid messy wiring hanging around the dashboard.
And because the new Baleno offers ADAS and camera-based features, don't mount anything where it can obstruct the driver's view or interfere with the vehicle's sensors or cameras.
8. Don't Cover Every New Feature
The 2026 Baleno's new technology is something you should protect by not interfering with it.
The top version gets Level 2 ADAS, while the facelift also brings features such as a 360-degree camera and wireless charging.
So avoid cheap stickers, decorative pieces or poorly positioned accessories around cameras, sensors and displays. Sometimes the best accessory is simply leaving an important component alone.
9. Exterior Styling: Keep It Subtle
Once protection is sorted, then think about appearance.
A tasteful rear spoiler, underbody spoiler, garnish or alloy-wheel upgrade can give the Baleno a more personalised look. Maruti's genuine accessory catalogue already offers Baleno-specific exterior styling options, so you don't have to overload the car with aftermarket parts.
My rule? Pick two or three styling elements that work together. Don't try to fit everything available.
Why Neodrift Is a Smart Choice for Baleno Owners
Buying accessories is only half the job—the installation can make or break the final result. Neodrift is a smart choice for Baleno owners who want professional accessory installation and a clean, factory-like finish. Whether you're protecting the cabin with mats and seat covers, adding more accessories or personalising the exterior, proper fitment matters. Instead of spending money on every accessory in the catalogue, Neodrift can help you focus on practical upgrades that suit your car, your budget and your everyday driving.
Final Takeaway
For a new 2026 Maruti Baleno, I'd follow this order: 3D floor mats, door-sill guards, seat protection, boot mat and door visors first. Then consider a dash camera and, finally, cosmetic upgrades such as spoilers or exterior garnish.
You don't need a Baleno loaded with accessories to make it special. Protect the parts that face daily wear first, keep the installation clean and then add a little style.
That's how you keep the new-car feel for much longer.
